American General is trying to re-screw me. Not only do they have very
high interest rates but their customer service is the worst. I had a good relationship with AG for 8 + years. I had to file bankruptcy and AG agreed to take the collateral instead of me paying the loan back. They were to receive 2 vehicles 1 four-wheeler and TV,
Computer etc. In three years of Bankruptcy I received 1
phone call asking the age and condition of the collateral. I did not hear back from AG until today. Corporate office called wanting their money... They never came for the cars etc. and are still available to them, they said they dont want it now they want $$. What am I supposed to do now ?

If you included this debt in your bankruptcy hearings and the court declared that the debt be forgiven under Chapter 11 (I think) then I believe AG is out of luck. IF you DID NOT include them in your proceedings, then you're now out of luck. Whatever verbal agreement you had with them at that time is now null and void. I suggest you get the bill and try to work out some sort of payment schedule, or maybe sell the items that were used as collateral and attempt an arrangement for payment. That's the best I have for you.
