Trying to sell my home. buyers attorney FOUND a 2000 lien for about $14K, which I knew nothing about. and I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE TO DO, get my own attorney or take them to court, ?????

Looking for a lien release letter

Just no answer, i called yesterday as well as today a few times but says to leave message. Ive left 2 so far but yet no call back.

They seemed friendly and so willing to help. I need a lien release, so I can have my house re financed. My credit union is going through all the steps they asked. But American General is putting up every road block. All I need is an account number. I have the exact date the loan was done. Still, no answers.

User's recommendation: Be prepared for a long wait, several phone calls to get what you need done. If that will ever happen.

If you are trying to get a lien release from American General Finance, contact the Legacy Hunt Group of 1-Main Financial at 1-84*-743-****. For a vehicle, you will need your title and proof of payment of the loan.

Attempting to collect on a already closed acct.

Company was full in full on a past account where as they were used by "Gateway" Computer Co. and is now attempting to again collect on monies they already received.
